SITA 2017 - EWITC Summer Instructional Technology Academy has ended
Welcome to the SITA 2017 schedule! This year’s venue will be on the beautiful campus of St. Norbert College in De Pere, WI!

This is our 22nd year of offering this very exciting teaching and learning conference FOR area educators put ON by area educators! 

Best of all it is FREE for educators who work for districts that are EWITC members which include:

Anyone from districts outside the EWITC group can attend for $100 a day.  Make checks payable to EWITC and mail at least a week in advance to:

With 28% of adults reporting that they have not read a book in the last 12 months, we are facing a mounting reading crisis.  So what can we, as the educators who teach this future generation of readers, do to create more engaging reading experiences?  Focusing on teacher reading identity, classroom environment, and library, as well as student reading identity, this is a presentation sure to inspire.  From re-thinking major literacy decisions to all of the small decisions we make daily; this is meant to be a practical session that will offer up ideas to be implemented the very next day.
